Jul 21, 2010 · you can stop the service linked to network connection. Use Start --> Control Panel --> Administrative Tools --> Services and stop the Wireless Zero Config for Wireless Connection and/or Network Connection. Stopping Services disables Windows from using this features. Hope that helps.
